Membership growth and opportunities for excellent customer service is where you come in!What you will do…You will responsible for planning and implementing skill based soccer programs for children aged 6-12.Pass, shoot, and score. You will teach children soccer basics at the YMCA with age specific skills, drills, and game play with instruction and supervision from our staff. Program offers a safe and productive environment for child to learn the fundamentals of soccer as well as the importance of teamwork in a fun, non-competitive and skill-based setting.What you will bring…You have and understand the of rules of soccer and can teach basic skills to children. Candidates need to be at least 16 years or turning 16 during the 2022 calendar. You will demonstrate responsible behaviour at all times and maintain high ethical standards. You are committed to working in a socially inclusive environment responding with sensitivity and personal awareness to diverse needs.You will have well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with fellow employees, participants, members and guests. You will also be required to present a clear, current, Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector screening.Play allows children and youth of all ages to try new things, test boundaries, learn from their mistakes and enjoy being active. While active play is fun, its certainly not frivolous.Unfortunately, the structure and demands of modern Canadian life may be engineering active play out of our childrens lives.
