Equivalent ExperienceTitle: Claims ExaminerType: 6 Month Contract with possibility of extensionCompany: Top 3 Canadian Insurance CompanyCompensation: $22.00Monday to Friday 830am-430pm or 9:00am to 5pm (Rotational)Summary: Review, examine, calculate and make decisions on a variety of claims (mostly backlogged claims) in accordance with applicable policy and service standards. Required to attain performance objectives on a monthly basis.Responsibilities:Review, examine, calculate and make decisions on a variety of claims received in the claims processing unitConduct research via policies/flipcharts that can provide additional information needed to adjudicate claimsEnter notes into the computer system/databases as requiredFacilitate stop payment requests and process reissues accordinglyPlace outbound calls to customers or providers to obtain information required to adjudicate a claimCreate and send various types of professional correspondenceRespond to escalations in a timely mannerQualifications:Post-secondary educationMinimum 6 months of insurance experience OR 5+ years of call center CSR experience.Experience using Windows platformÀ propos dAston Carter:Veuillez noter : Des fraudeurs essaient de se faire passer pour des employés dAston Carter.
