Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: The Club Monitor is responsible for cleaning the Facility (Change rooms, cardio, floor, weight areas and studios)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain gym floor cleanliness & general sanitization of the club
  • Make sure all equipment and attachments are organized
  • Basic organization of weights and barbells
  • Wash and dry towels
  • Restock paper towels/toilet paper/hand sanitizer
  • Empty garbage cans
  • Clean water fountains
  • Personal Protective equipment must be used while performing cleaning tasks
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be punctual, reliable, thorough, and have a great work ethic
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and work under pressure
  • Highly organized and detail focused
  • Creative and inventive in developing ways to make job more efficient
  • Above average interpersonal oral and written communication skills
  • Must exhibit professional manner
  • Must be highly motivated and energetic
  • An understanding of health club operations would be an asset, but is not required
REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience in cleaning.CPR and First Aid (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).Education: OSSDMaintenance experience would be an asset.Job Type: Part-timeSalary: From $15.50 per hourBenefits:
