We are also part of Heidelberg Cement Group, one of the world’s largest building materials companies.The Customer Service Representative role is based in Cambridge ON and reports directly to the Lead Dispatcher.What you’ll get to do

  • Assigns customer orders via telephone by completing order form in addition to offering product information and pricing.
  • Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests.
  • Sells additional services by recognizing opportunities to up-sell accounts; explaining new features.
  • Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.
  • Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems.
  • Assisting clients with various inquiries.
  • Data entry of customer orders into software systems.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Perform other duties and assignments as required.
Essential Experience and Skills
  • High Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must have excellent computer skills, reports/documentation, and system functionality
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Highly dependable, ability to work in fast paced call center environment.
  • Commitment and engagement through high level of work ethic and utilization of abilities for the best of the company.
  • Ability to tactfully and professionally deal with customers both internal and external
  • Establish trust and relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Sustainable management (i.e. compliance with laws and regulations)
  • Professional competence (i.e. knowledge of the industry and cross-functional understanding)
