Job Description

Altech Utility Services is a quickly growing utility locate service provider, specializing in private locates, and dedicated locating. Currently, there are full-time positions available. We are looking for individuals who are punctual and have good attitudes.We are an independent locating company with a great and talented team looking to expand. We are located in Cambridge, Ontario and have group benefits for our full-time employees.Qualifications:

  • G Class Licence
  • DPT Level 100 (preferred)
  • 3 Years locating Experience
  • Experience with Private/Dedicated locating (preferred)
  • Experience with ground penetrating radar, or concrete scanning equipment an asset
Successful Damage Prevention Technician candidates will have the following skills and experience:
  • Work independently, or as a team, with the ability to manage workload, and meet deadlines as required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs, and digital drawing tools
  • Ability to problem solve and exercise good judgment
  • A focus on customer service
  • Labour Intensive Work, and able to walk long distances in varying weather conditions and terrain. The ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Good stress management techniques to mitigate job associated stressors
  • Have a valid ‘G’ class Driver’s License and clean three (3) year Driver’s Abstract as this position includes a company vehicle for business and personal use
  • Have some knowledge of radio detection equipment
  • Education or employment background in construction, electrical, landscaping, surveying, GIS, or CAD.
  • Organized, and independent with a strong work ethic
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $24.00-$27.00 per hourBenefits:
