What do we expect from our restaurant serversOur service team at the Cambridge Mill are comprised of hospitality professionals who take their job, and the impact that we have on guests, very seriously and we expect successful candidates to do the same. A commitment to quality, to genuine customer service, and to continuously looking for ways to enrich the experience of our guests are fundamental. Our servers are expected to have a good base knowledge of the food we serve, the wines we pour and the cocktails we mix while continuously looking for opportunities to learn. Our guests have very high expectations of their experience when they join us, and have come to trust our service staff for a friendly and knowledgeable approach to hospitality. Our menu changes with the season, and is often supplied from our own organic farm during growing season so there are always new things to taste and talk about.Successful Candidates will possess the following skills:

• A passion for the amazing place we live and work - the community of Cambridge, the farmers that supply our restaurants, and the amazing breweries, wineries and cideries that highlight our menus.
• Takes pride in everything they touch, whether setting a section up for service or bringing out a plate from our kitchen.
• Treats their workplace like its their own - protecting it and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Believing in the brand - we want you to get excited about new dishes, products and projects and we want you to share that passion with our guests. We want you to know our story and be excited that you are now a part of it.
• We want you to ask questions - ask about ingredients, ask about our property, ask about a wine, ask about the history of a dish. We expect you to communicate these things to your guests - and we love having a team that enjoys teaching one another.
• Be clean, thorough and organized, in your environment, your time-management, in your communication to others, and in your additional duties and responsibilities. If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right the first time.
• Pride in ownership! Treat each table like they are your own guests, clear courses completely, reset with clean and polished cutlery, remove unnecessary items from table. Everything should have a purpose
