Job Description

Overview:The Pickle Barrel is looking for a Manager of Guest Experience at our Cambridge, Ontario location.The Pickle Barrel began with a mission. We believed that amazing dining experiences didn’t need to be elitist, so we began a restaurant that combined ‘quality’ with ‘incredible value’. Today we have restaurants all across the Greater Toronto Area, with a menu that offers over 200 items brought to you by over 1,000 employees- with no shortcuts. We promise to put real fresh food on the table every time!We are looking for individuals that are passionate about food, hospitality, and providing their Guests with a Perfect Dining Experience to join our Pickle Barrel family!Responsibilities:

  • Fostering a positive work environment that supports and promotes exceptional guest-focused service
  • Evaluating the effectiveness and reporting on the metrics of all such programs to general manager
  • Managing team member relations including recruitment, scheduling, training & developing, coaching and recognition
  • Promoting a work environment that is healthy, safe and based on respect and trust
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Manager in an upscale dining environment with similar sales volume
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in hospitality and/or business related field
  • Strong business acumen, including an understanding of budgets and operating costs
  • Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage
  • Excellent understanding of the upscale dining industry
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and direct other
