Like family, we support our staff to always do better.With over 70 locations spanning from coast to coast, and trade links around the globe, P&H is growth-oriented, diversified and vertically integrated with operations spanning across grain merchandising, flour milling, crop input distribution and animal feed production.Skills and experience for the next step in your career.As Material Handler, the successful candidate will be responsible for packaging finished product as well as performing various general labour duties within the mill.The Afternoon Shift will be Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pmYour day to day activities will include:

  • Setting up machinery
  • Packaging product, including operation of various packing lines
  • Loading containers with product as needed
  • Responsible for production documentation and labelling and distributing product to designated locations within the warehouse
  • Maintain a clean work environment, including own working area
  • Operating a forklift
  • Complete and follow all health, safety and food safety training policies as related to the job
The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:
  • Previous forklift experience, or willingness to obtain Forklift License
  • Previous experience in a general labourer position
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to safely lift and stack 25 kg bags repetitively
  • Must be able to work shiftwork
