Job Description

Location: Cambridge, OntarioDepartment: ProductionReports to: Production ManagerJob Summary:The role of the Production Assistant is to help ensure high quality and timely manufacture, assembly, and packaging of Ecologix products. Ecologix products include a variety of heating and cooling equipment, including air handlers, hydronic pump modules, air-conditioners and heat pumps.Hours of operation: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with 1/2 hour lunch. Flex hours available.Essential Functions: Duties and Responsibilities

  • wiring & assembly of control boards & electrical components, according to complete wiring diagrams or schematics
  • sheet metal cabinet assembly
  • insulating of assembled equipment
  • testing of product functionality for quality control
  • maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Competencies (skills, knowledge, and attributes):
  • Dependable, hard worker
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapid changes in procedures and processes
  • Understanding of basic electrical and controls components an asset (relays, transformers, fuses, etc.)
  • Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
Physical, Mental and Visual Demands:Production Assistant will be on their feet most of the day, performing a variety of manufacturing tasks, some of which include moving/lifting of items up to 100 lbs.Qualifications/Experience:At least 1-2 years of experience in a related role in manufacturing or tradefax to: 855-658-9384Thank you for your interest in Ecologix.Quick Apply
