Balance production with demand to support targets consistent with our customer service levels, inventory turn goals and capacity utilization.· Develop Business Plan summaries for assigned product types and selected SKU’s including demand and production data.· Provide weekly-bucketed schedules by SKU to manufacturing and install production compliance metrics to measure performance – weekly report provided actual vs. plan.· Accountable for creating and maintaining the overall Master Production Schedule (MPS), to meet operational and customer requirements.· Develop detailed production schedules for the pre-assembly of component items and assembly of finished goods based on equipment, labour, and raw material availability.· Report key metrics including Schedule Adherence and Master Schedule Stability· Interact frequently with sales, client support and production personnel to balance supply and demand.· Facilitate daily production and scheduling meetings· Present scheduling and production KPIs at monthly meetings· Participate and present in weekly Global Planning & Production meetings· Using the Production Demand Plan in the development of weekly production schedules· Track and report weekly schedule adherence with attention to overdue and early build opportunities· Correspond with the other manufacturing plants and international affiliates concerning requirements.· Use Capacity Planning tools to determine if production will be constrained in future periods, load level production plan, and identify potential corrective actions such as working overtime, adding equipment, or expediting.· Review New Product introductions and BOM Development communications to support Supply Chain by sharing and providing with the information.· Participate in meetings and keep apprised of issues related to Demand Forecast, Manufacturing, Planning, New Product introductions, Line Fill Rates, Metrics, and other related Supply Chain issues.· Resolve issues by presenting various alternatives for decision at KPI meetings.· Advise Planning team regarding production schedule adjustments and special distribution requirements.· Actively support continuous improvement activitiesEducation/Experience· A degree or college diploma in Materials Management or Production Planning· Five plus years’ experience in Manufacturing and/or Materials Management, including at least two years with specific exposures to planning, coordinating and scheduling production operations· APICS certification desirable· Advanced skill in Microsoft Office applications, with a key focus on ExcelJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per yearBenefits:
