• Competitive Base Pay: $20.00 starting with scheduled pay increases every three months, deposited in your bank account every Friday. We also pay for your travel time so you get paid every minute you work.
• Incentive Bonus Paid Every Three Months: Ability to earn up to an extra $1000 every three months based on a weighted review of your performance and positive customer feedback.
• Annual Performance Incentive: We send our top three Professional Cleaners annually on an all-expenses-paid trip for two and time off to a sun destination in February each year!
• We Provide the Uniform: We provide you with Summerhill Clean polos to be worn during your shift; we also provide you a $250 uniform credit on your second paycheque so you can purchase black pants and non-slip shoes to wear while working.
• Health, Dental, and Vision Benefits: Starting after the first 60 days, you begin receiving full Health, Dental, and Vision Benefits with 70% of the cost paid by Summerhill Clean.
• Vacation Days: Vacation pay is paid weekly at 4% on your paycheque and you take two weeks off annually. Beginning in Year 3, we begin paying 6% vacation pay and you take three weeks off annually.
• Personal Paid Days: Up to five paid sick or personal days to be used annually.
• Career Opportunities: Ability to get promoted to lead a team or district, lead quality assurance efforts, customer relations, and more!
• Hours: Casual Part-time to start, with ability to flex-up to full-time within approximately six months. We aim to provide a minimum 10 hours of work weekly on a best efforts basis.

Your Qualifications

• Provide proof of double vaccination
• Provide two pieces of government photo ID
• Ability to pass an enhanced criminal record check
• Ability to pass a soft credit check (no bankruptcy within the last two years)
• Ability to communicate in English with customers and colleagues in a respectful manner
• Ability to wear a face mask, disposable gloves, and disposable shoe covers while cleaning in peoples homes
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and use
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
• Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew and cleaning solutions

Job Responsibilities

• Creating an exceptional customer cleaning experience
• Communicating with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction, including completing post-cleaning assessments and providing photography
• Create moments of magic to ensure a positive customer experience
• Complete quality control assessments and reviews to ensure our highest standards of client experience is met
• Complete cleaning activities, including but not limited to:
• Use Summerhill Clean cleaning products and procedures to clean in customer homes
• Use provided equipment including vacuums and microfibre cleaning cloths
• Clean all surfaces in home, including fans, blinds, light fixtures, baseboards, fixtures, counters, showers, toilets, cabinets, and floors
• Ability to clean floors on hands and knees in kitchens and bathrooms
• Vacuum all stairs, carpet, hard surface floors and furniture
• Move all reasonably moveable furniture to clean under and behind
• Carry all cleaning products and equipment to and from office, vehicle, and customers’ homes
• Assist in keeping supplies stocked and maintain equipment
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable, and on time
• Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
