Job Description

Location: Cambridge, ONHours: Continental Day Shift - 5:00 am to 5:00 pm. Work every other weekend.Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour based on qualifications and experienceHere’s what we do…CMI sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America and ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste. Our recycling stream ensures that all the ferrous and non-ferrous metals that enter our yards will create something new again!Here’s where you come in…CMI is looking for Torch Person to join our Operations team. We will train the right candidate.Now that you know about us, we want to know more about you! We are looking for someone who can:

  • Torch cut oversized ferrous material to required specifications
  • Be an extra helping hand with all general labour requirements
  • Work outside in a variety of weather conditions
We think it would be awesome if you have:
  • Previous experience torch cutting
  • Previous experience working outdoors
  • The ability to work in a physically demanding position
  • Strong English communication skills
