Silvertip is more than just a resort; it is an extraordinary experience where nature and luxury seamlessly blend, creating unforgettable memories for all who visit.Position SummaryReporting to the Foodamp; Beverage Manager - The Host is responsible for providing a warm and welcoming first impression to guests upon their arrival at Silvertip Resort. This role includes managing guest seating, coordinating with the service team for efficient table assignments, and handling reservations and inquiries. The Host plays a key role in ensuring all guests receive exceptional service by maintaining an organized front-of-house environment and supporting a smooth dining experience.Why Silvertip Resort

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and manage reservations, waitlists, and seating to ensure a smooth guest flow.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance and host area.
  • Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to support seamless service.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and minor complaints professionally.
  • Assist with table resets, dining area setup, and support colleagues during busy periods.
  • Provide coat check service when applicable and ensure guest belongings are handled with care.
  • Help train new host staff and uphold grooming and uniform standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness in front- and back-of-house areas as needed.
  • Document and report any service incidents or accidents promptly.
Requirements
  • Should be eligible to work in Canada full-time.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly.
  • Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Previous customer service or host experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance in line with grooming standards
Duration: This is a Full-Time seasonal position, May to October.
