Job Description

Home is home to more than Canada’s largest independent hardware and building supplies retailer. We’re also home to a supportive workforce dedicated to helping all our customers with quality products and exceptional service.Maple Leaf Hardware Building Centre has an immediate opening for a project desk sales representative. The ideal candidate would have previous building supply experience with knowledge in construction, plumbing, electrical, as well as project estimating. We offer a competitive salary based on experience.Job Description

  • Work as part of retail / contractor sales team servicing all customer needs.
  • Provide excellent friendly customer service within any store department.
  • Ability to maintain a positive customer service attitude when dealing with customers, vendors, or associates.
  • Report directly to the store manager.
  • Participate in various training courses as needed.
  • Measure and order Extreme or Kohler windows and doors.
  • Source and order non-stock products for contractors.
  • Create purchase orders and sales slips accurately and on time.
  • Be flexible to work on our retail sales desk and lend a hand where needed.
