This position is a temporary maternity leave coverage, anticipated to last approximately 12-18 months in duration.You will be a strategic HR partner delivering shared business goals, strategies, and initiatives. You will be responsible for a site-specific approach to organizational and people capability building, long term resource and talent management planning and execution, using business insights to drive change in people management practices as well as advising and making recommendations on the people implications of organization change.This role is on-site, based at the Carberry, MB plant.Key Responsibilities:Plan, develop, and direct the various Human Resources and employee relations programs and initiatives within the plant manufacturing organization to ensure that corporate, regional, and local Human Resources strategies and priorities are met. As a strategic business partner to the local manufacturing leadership team, the HR Business Partner will provide consultation and Human Resources expertise on matters relating to:Employee EngagementLabor RelationsLegal compliance & policies and proceduresTalent AcquisitionLearning & DevelopmentLeadership DevelopmentHuman CapitalRewards & RecognitionCommunity RelationsSafety, Health & WellnessContinuous ImprovementQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field. Master’s degree a plus.3 years’ in Human Resources including employee relations, labor relations, training, organizational development, talent acquisition, safety and compensation/benefits is preferred.
