Job SummaryThe Human Resource Manager assists the General Manager in a wide variety of Human Resource functions that include recruiting and selection, benefit and pension administration, health & safety, reward and recognition programs while promoting employee relations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Positively promotes the Casino in all interactions with Management, employees and potential employees· Encourages, demonstrates and practices employer-employee relationships that contribute to the productivity and morale that support overall company goals· Enters and maintains employee information in HRIS and other software management systems· Assists in the hiring process by prescreening, arranging and conducting Interviews, and new hire orientations· Administers all WCB reports and claims· Participates in Health & Safety committee· Organizes and maintains department and employee files· Prepares monthly and quarterly reports· Organizes and manages uniforms· Abides, instills and demonstrates all provincial laws including privacy· Practices Health & Safety guidelines· Helps in Department Projects as neededQualifications and RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential job duty satisfactory. Ideal candidates have secondary education with working knowledge of provincial laws and at least two years in a similar role or administration. Excellent computer skills with excel and web based software programs, including HRIS systems. Good coaching skills with the ability to build relationships through strong interpersonal skills accompanied with good written and verbal communication skills.The incumbent must obtain and maintain approval from the Manitoba Gaming Control Commission.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 40 per weekSalary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per yearBenefits:
