Our industry recognition is a testament to the family values we share with our parent company, McCain Foods Limited.About the RoleRegional ManagerFull-timeSaskatchewan & ManitobaBuild capacity within ones region, through the development and implementation of a plan for continued and improved service delivery, supporting our initiative for quality and growth. Also contribute to the implementation of new business practices and procedures for acquisitions and overall business development.How You’ll Help

  • Work with Terminal Manager(s), Fleet Services, and Linehaul Operations to analyze the current and future capacity of service and develop a plan for the on-going (and improved) delivery of service with a strong focus on quality.
  • Work with the division, the region, and/or the local area to ensure a smooth transition during the acquisition of new business and the implementation of new processes and procedures
  • Support and manage projects/Initiatives as required within the region.
  • Provide daily guidance to Terminal Managers, to ensure alignment with National Operations Strategy.
  • Provide support to operations with a focus on continues improvement initiatives and 5S.
  • Other duties relating to terminal operations or assigned by the Regional Director
Your Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of secondary education, with preference of post-secondary education (general stream), or a combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience leading teams, developing talent and managing culture and performance
  • Ideal to have multi-site leadership experience in transportation or operations as well as various roles in transportation
  • exceptional leadership and influencing skills, including the ability to effectively get things done through others, lead by example, coach, and support staff and other leaders
  • strong business sense and analytical skills
  • a strong sense of customer service and urgency, troubleshooting and problem solving skills;
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • computer skills including the Microsoft Suite and preferably, AS400
  • the ability to lead and reinforce a strong culture of workplace safety
  • English (verbal/written/spoken) required; French or other languages are an asset
  • Able to work with little supervision
  • This role is accountable to the Regional Director
