Portage is a non-profit organization that strives to help people overcome their dependence and associated difficulties that come with substance abuse in order for them to achieve a healthy, positive, productive and happy life-style. Portage offers drug addiction rehabilitation treatment in its various centers in Atlantic Canada, Quebec and Ontario.Responsabilities- Supports, monitors residents under his responsibility;- Ensures the maintenance of order, discipline and the safety of residents;- Validate the quality of care provided according to the organizations policies and procedures;- Conduct monitoring rounds to ensure regular checks;- Detects and reports any anomaly to the person in charge;- Take action according to the regulations of the establishment to prevent any danger;- Provides assistance to agitated residents and other similar situations;- Seeks the general needs of residents ;- Sees the general maintenance of the premises;- Applies the rules of the establishment relating to the internal and external circulation of staff, visitors, customers and suppliers;- Applies preventive measures and verifies the proper functioning of protection systems and collaborates with the various municipal services;- Respects the organizations policies and procedures for the quality of care provided, the safety and well-being of residents;- Participates in the orientation and learning of new staff;- Performs other related tasks;If you identify with the following profile: - Completed high school diploma;- Two (2) years experience in helping, customer service, or other experience deemed relevant;- Sens of observation, honesty, good self-control, courtesy, good judgment;- Sense of responsibility and fulfill his responsibilities;- Know how to work well in a team;- Ethical sense, confidentiality, and empathy;Don’t wait, send us your resume by email!Job Type: Part-timeSalary: $17.98 per hourSchedule:
