NOTE: Applicants must attach a resume to their application.JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate is responsible for supporting and promoting a continuous improvement culture for quality and patient safety as part of the forensic and tertiary psychiatry programs of Restigouche Hospital Centre (RHC). The incumbent works closely with the RHC management team on implementation of the integrated quality management framework using best practices and evidence. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and facilitating root cause analyses resulting from harmful incidents and/or patient complaints. The incumbent supports the development of improvement initiatives to deliver care and services focused on patients, quality and safety.The successful candidate supports Vitalité Health Network’s accreditation activities and participates in these activities to achieve and maintain the Network’s accreditation status. The incumbent also coordinates activities related to the accreditation process and works closely with teams to ensure compliance with standards and required organizational practices.The incumbent works closely on continuous process improvement with the other quality advisors, patient safety advisors and patient experience advisors.** Travel to the RHC on a regular basis is required.REQUIREMENTS:
