Reporting to the Director, Academic, the Registrar oversees the administration of student registrations and student records. The Registrar works with College staff to ensure their understanding of the student information system, processes, policies and data integrity.Role: · Identifies, develops, implements, and maintains College-wide processes for program and student file management for the student information system and ensures overall integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of data.· Coordinates freedom of information and protection of privacy matters related to students, clients, and alumni.· Establishes and maintains a system of official student records and procedures to ensure their accuracy, completeness and confidentiality, and manages the related archive policy to fulfill the College’s obligations as an academic institution.· Performs other responsibilities as may be assigned to contribute to the success of student learning and a positive participation experience.· Participate in market recruitment strategies including but not limited to school visits, career/college fairs and on-campus events, campus tours and parent information sessions.EDUCATION , EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS· Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience.· A minimum of three years of supervisory and leadership experience in administering student financial aid & awards, advising, and/or customer service operations, preferably in a public post-secondary educational institution, including strong working knowledge and experience with Registrarial operations.· Extensive knowledge of government student financial aid regulations and issues of compliance within Canadian post-secondary education.· Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations.· Excellent planning, organizational and administrative skills.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $28.00-$30.00 per hourSchedule:
