It is privately held and has achieved high double digit annual growth and profitability since its inception.Job DescriptionReporting to the Associate Manager, English Content, the Associate Specialist of E-Commerce Training & Quality Assurance is responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering training sessions and learning materials, and for managing all phases of training. They will be responsible for production content quality assurance, training execution, process audits, and continuous improvement programs related to quality and training to achieve operations excellence and production growth. The ideal candidate will foster a positive work environment that embraces SSENSE purpose and principles in achieving the company’s objectives.RESPONSIBILITIESTraining & Quality Assurance (75%)

  • Manage product descriptions training sessions aligned with production and capacity requirements
  • Provide onboarding, technical and soft skill training for the Content & Localization staff
  • Assess, design, and develop engaging and impactful training programs, sessions and materials surrounding departmental onboarding, translation skills development, and technical knowledge in accordance with the company growth, business objectives and seasonality of our production
  • Create a robust documentation system, PDP content training matrix, and audit process to ensure best performance is delivered across time, quality and quantity targets
  • Ensure learning and development documents and processes are up-to-date and maintained on an ongoing basis
  • Deploy and standardize product descriptions quality and capacity dashboards and quality control methods to monitor and improve training results and performance
  • Support ad-hoc learning, training, and development projects as needed
  • Provide timely & relevant feedback from the freelance to the full-time E-commerce team to create a healthy feedback loop
Continuous Improvement (25%)
  • Collaborate with Editors to identify issues, proactively propose solutions and continuously improve the training guides and sessions for the team
  • Collaborate with the E-commerce team to improve Freelancer roster efficiency & quality
  • Update tests materials and improve hiring procedures
  • Assist Associate Manager(s) in hiring, retaining and developing talent as needed
  • Assist Associate Manager(s) in ensuring team mobilization and creating a work environment that fosters healthy communication, collaboration, and productivity
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, Fashion or a related field is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Training or QA in a content production environment
  • Mastery of English grammar, spelling, and usage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Advanced knowledge of Google suite
  • Knowledge of fashion or omnichannel marketing is an asset
