  • Coordinate the completion of environmental assessments, specifically pipeline route selection and siting
  • Identify environment requirements for pipeline construction projects and new business; reviewing environmental reports prepared by consultants; providing expertise and recommendations to business on findings
  • Work with federal, provincial, and local agencies to secure permits and ensure environmental compliance of projects
  • Supporting the business with all types of day-to-day environmental inquiries, including providing timely response to environmental issues from field locations across the company
  • Oversee third party inspectors to support construction and ensure compliance with environmental plans and permit conditions
Who you are:
  • Hold a related university degree or diploma
  • Have 4 or more years of directly related experience, preferably in pipeline, industry, infrastructure sectors
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of provincial and federal environmental legislation and assessments for Ontario Energy Board (OEB) and Canadian Energy Regulator (CER)
  • Knowledgeable in Environmental permitting when working with conservations authorities and the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while keeping them on track for completion
  • Team-oriented, positive attitude, highly organized, and self-directed with the desire to contribute to a dynamic and face-paced work environment.
