May 16, 2021Employee Type:Regular-Full timeUnion/Non:This is a non-union positionAre you a finance professional with an interest in financial analytics If you have four years’ experience and University degree, this could be an excellent opportunity for you!As an Advisor Shared Services, you will provide financial support, analysis and interpretation of financial performance to senior management and corporate partners as the need arises to support their business decisions.If this is of interest, apply now!What You Will Do:Responsible for collaborating with senior business partners to articulate and communicate a complete overview on the expenditures incurred throughout the company;Coordinate the completion of OPEX analysis at the company-wide levelProvide mentorship in the reconciliation of various systems utilized and their integration to the systems in the corporate environmentProvide and recommend improvements to processes carried out within the team and the dependencies that impact financial outcomesWorking collaboratively with key partners, be responsible for the development of forecasts and the annual budget and long-range forecasts;Manipulate and consolidate data as input to various models/processes currently utilized in the teamSupport peers and other analysts with troubleshooting pre-designed Excel models as needed;Ensure financial reporting and tracking is consistent with Regulatory framework;Support key SOX controls and Audit requirementsWho You Are:4 years of work experience with prior exposure to Financial Planning & AnalysisUniversity Business degree requiredFinance related designation (CMA, CA, CPA, CGA) preferredSelf-sufficient and a self-starter with ability to perform with minimal mentorship;Detailed understanding of the accounting cycle and ability to understand the intricacies between financial systems;Innovative demeanour; looking to improve current processes and eliminate efficiencies;Build, maintain and troubleshoot Excel models to improvise repetitive processes;Ability to simplify sophisticated financial information and present them into business partners;Proven understanding of SAP or Oracle preferredDiversity and inclusion are important to us.
