For assistance on how to apply, please click herePosition OverviewThis position is responsible for supporting an office/department through various administrative activities and coordination of assigned processes.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging and maintaining data on grain, organics, specialty crop and IP contractsPrepare retail customer grain cheques and ensuring for accuracyTimely and accurately prepare invoices for customersContacting, communicating and providing transportation providers and customers with shipping information and necessary paperworkBalancing inventory of crop protection products weekly and monthlyRespond and assist customers with account inquiriesBalancing daily cash receipts and prepare bank depositsFiling and sorting mail received and maintaining office stationary suppliesPrepare accounts payable for facility approvalAssist in training of new staff in administrative proceduresCustomer Service - answer telephones and assist customers where possibleOther administrative duties as required or assignedWhat is expected of you and others at this levelStrong organizational skillsGood verbal and written communication skills.Problem solving skillsAcquires basic skills to perform routine tasksWork is prescribed and completed with little autonomyWorks with either close supervision, or under clearly defined proceduresMinimum Qualifications & SkillsPost-secondary education required1-2 years’ relevant experience requiredThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
