Maintains safety standards always and initiates/follows emergency procedures when necessary. Potential to rotate through various roles within the area and shift.What you will do:Coordinate lab activities and work with supervisors to achieve targetsAssist with daily scheduling and organizing of plant operationsDevelop and maintain good communication with plant personnel to impact product quality and plant productivityActively participate in E2W initiative.Participate in team meetings and lead areas of assigned responsibility.Compliance with Work Instructions and Safety requirementsAssist with creating and modifying Safety proceduresComplete and maintain appropriate records, documents, or reports quality and inventory recordsOvertime hours including weekend and holidays work required during seasonal peaksOversee the staff that is in the lab on shifts and support the workloadResponsible for training the staff in the lab and updating any training requirements.Responsible for meeting required deadlines with samplingMaintain calibration records, quality, and government requirementsPrepping and assisting the plant team with auditsQualificationsQualifications - ExternalWhat expertise have you grown What is required from youMinimum High School Diploma or GEDKnowledge of production agricultureValid Class G driver’s license requiredAbility to adjust quickly to changing conditions and anticipate needsGood verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to run and participate in meetingsAbility to provide training and supervise/coach othersStrong level of PC skills desiredStrong level of knowledge in SAP, Excel, Word, Access, OutlookWillingness to work in Chatham or Ridgetown depending on the seasonPosition involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting to 50 lbsMust be willing and able to work shift hours (8, 10, or 12) including weekends and holidaysAn asset but not required would be to have a grader's license, certified sampler trainingBenefits:Let’s peek at how you can grow your wellbeing, health, and future at Corteva!Strike a better work-life balance with robust time off benefits including paid maternity, paternal and family illness leavePrepare for your future with our competitive retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement program, and moreEnjoy access to health benefits for you and your family on your first day of employmentAnd much, much more!Ready to grow your perspectives, impact and career Start by applying to this opportunity today!
