Job Description

About this positionThis is an exciting opportunity to join Great Canadian Bungee’s team in a thrilling role as a retrieval operator picking bungee jumpers and zipliners from water level as well as harnessing jumpers and zipliners on the tower.Great Canadian Bungee is the North American leader in the bungee jumping and ziplining industry with a wealth of long standing training programs, management and operational infrastructure developed over 30 operating seasons. Although a major asset, this job opportunity does not require direct experience. Instead, candidates for this opportunity should possess a high level of professionalism, confidence, team-work experience and a love for the outdoors.Responsibilities

  • Retrieving the jumpers and riders after their activities.
  • Harnessing and briefing jumpers and riders on the tower.
  • Providing customer service to the jumpers and riders.
  • Assisting in training new guides and team members.
  • Participating in ongoing training.
  • Maintaining and inspecting the docks, boats and bungee and zipline equipment.
Work periodSeason: End of April to Mid-NovemberWork Schedule20 – 30 hours per week (April, May & June)30 – 40 hours per week (July, August & September)20 – 30 hours per week (October & November)Work LocationGreat Canadian Bungee’s jump site is in the Morrison Quarry at 1780 Rt 105, Chelsea, Qc.Candidate Requirements
  • Be fluently bilingual (French and English).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Be fully vaccinated against Covid (2 doses).
  • Ability to work outdoors.
  • Some experience working with customers.
  • Possess First-Aid/CPR or be willing to take.
  • Be a strong swimmer capable of passing an onsite swim test.
