About this positionThis is an exciting opportunity to accelerate through Great Canadian Bungee’s module training program to become a Jump Master at Canada’s highest bungee. This unique training program provides free high angle rope rescue training, rappelling and belaying, and anchoring courses. Candidates will have the opportunity to train and work in various positions at Great Canadian bungee, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Jump Master, embarking on an exciting and rewarding career.Great Canadian Bungee is the North American leader in the bungee jumping and ziplining industry with a wealth of long standing training programs, management and operational infrastructure developed over 30 operating seasons. The ideal candidate should possess leadership and team work experience. Candidates with experience working at heights, rope access, and rigging training are considered assets.Video Link on Becoming a Jump Master: https://youtu.be/j838JJs2r14Responsibilities· Leading and supervising the crew.· Ensuring the safety of jumpers and crew members.· Harnessing and briefing jumpers and riders on the tower.· Lowering jumpers into a retrieval vessel.· Providing customer service to the jumpers and riders.· Assisting in training new guides and team members.· Participating in ongoing training.· Maintaining and inspecting bungee cords, harnesses, and zipline equipment.Work periodSeason: Mid May to Mid-NovemberWork period· 40 hours per week (April, May & June)· 40 hours per week (July, August & September)· 30-40 hours per week (October & November)Work LocationGreat Canadian Bungee’s jump site is in the Morrison Quarry at 1780 Rt 105, Chelsea, Qc.Candidate Requirements
