We deeply care about everyone—guests and fellow artisans alike—in our wellness spa.What we needReporting to the General Manager, the main objective of the incumbent is to provide advice and support to managers, employees, the payroll team, the human resources team and applicants. The incumbent will be responsible for the full cycle of the recruitment process, including the administrative management of employee files and will be involved in the application of numerous programs affecting the work path of our employees.What you’ll do

  • Responsible for the application of Human Resources and labour relations strategies, including policies, programs and procedures;
  • Provide information to managers and employees on the interpretation of policies relating to Human Resources, compensation and benefit plans;
  • Recruit staff, ensure their welcome and integration and participate in job fairs;
  • Manage internal communications concerning human resources and act as contact person to answer questions from employees;
  • Responsible for the management and follow-up of work accident files, preventive withdrawals, sick and parental leave;
  • Act as a mediator in labor disputes and provide advice on employee and labor relations;
  • Develop job classifications and descriptions, salary scales, as well as measures and skills assessment systems, as needed; and conducts research if required;
  • Participate in management meetings;
  • Coordinate the Health and Safety Committee;
  • Manage Corporate HR plans and programs in close collaboration with the head office: performance evaluation program, recognition program, employee assistance program, employee development program;
  • Perform related tasks, as required.
Profile neededWhat is the profile needed in order to be successful in this position
  • College and University diploma in a Human Resources-related management field; Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Commerce;
  • Minimum of five years experience in Human Resources;
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CHRA) accreditation, would be an asset;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Bilingualism (French and English), would be an asset;
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook et PowerPoint);
  • Capability of managing a large workload and projects while respecting tight deadlines in a rapid work environment;
  • Ability to address conflicting demands and prioritize tasks
  • Detail-oriented, with great planning and analytical capabilities;
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships;
  • Respectful, honest and versatile;
  • Possess a proactive approach to daily tasks; punctuality and reliability;
  • Respect for confidentiality and exercise good judgment and discretion.
