We care deeply about each and every guest and fellow craftsman in our wellness spa.What we wantReporting to the Director of Operations, the Wellness Ambassador will convey the essence of our brand by bringing wellness and the feeling of being "elsewhere" to life. He/she will ensure the smooth running of wellness experiences (rituals for our guests and other experiences for our artisans) and take them to the next level to ensure unforgettable quality moments in our spa village. He/she will also be responsible for identifying, developing, implementing and providing governance for current and future wellness initiatives for our guests and artisans.What you will doActivities - Guest Role

• Design, evaluate, propose and implement wellness programs and initiatives for both our guests as well as our artisans;
• Promote the organizations wellness standards, policies or practices that are consistent with managements vision and various standards and regulations;
• Define and maintain metrics on costs and trends, make recommendations for improvement ;
• Listen to customer feedback to improve the Nordik experience;
• In collaboration with Corporate, work on creating new rituals and other wellness experiences and integrate treatments from around the world into the spa experience;
• Highlight natural products at the right time of the year to customize the guest experience to the seasons;
• Ensure that the guest wellness experience is impeccable, according to the standards dictated by our brand;

Activities - Role with the artisans

• Advise and make proposals to management on workplace wellness orientations, action plans and objectives;
• Be an ambassador and promote wellness within the organization;
• Implement and facilitate Wellness Committee meetings for ongoing initiatives and progress;
• Ensure regular implementation of wellness activities;

Leadership and collaboration

• Recruit and train new ritual artisans;
• Prepare reports to management on the status of wellness projects;
• Be the primary liaison with service providers;
• Communicate with the Head Office Ritual Leader to gain knowledge to further inspire and train your team;
• Guide and inspire the passionate Ritual Artisans, who provide daily rituals and treatments to our spa guests and ensure they have an unforgettable experience;
• Have the ability to perform core rituals such as Aufguss or Pirts to work closely with the ritual team and stay on top of guest feedback; and
• In collaboration with the purchasing team, ensure inventory is available to conduct rituals and other wellness experiences; and
• Perform any other related duties.

Profile required

• Wellness certificate or equivalent;
• Five (5) years experience in the wellness, hospitality or tourism industry;
• Relevant experience in managing wellness programs;
• Bilingualism essential (French and English);
• Ability to analyze data, make recommendations and synthesize;
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and establish partnership agreements;
• Influential leadership in his/her field of activity;
• Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills with other departments including Human Resources;
• Affinity with the use of natural products;
• Interest in healthy living and the world of wellness in general;
• Agility and good problem solving skills;
• Curiosity in learning new skills and an ability to speak and perform in front of an audience.
