Job Description

Kan-Arm Contracting Ltd. is seeking an experienced Administrative Operations Manager with minimum 5 years experience in a corporate setting, effectively overseeing the day-to-day overall efficiency of multiple departments within a company.Kan-Arm Contracting Ltd. is a fast-growing large drilling and blasting company with ongoing long-term contracts with pipeline, surface mines, residential urban blasting and highway/road construction. Our companys mission is to work hard alongside our team to continually innovate and dominate the rock work industry with a mixture of strong work ethic, technology and keeping our personnel safe through best work practices and implementation of COR safety requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and nurture a dynamic and competent workforce.Develop and execute plan to achieve company goals by communicating between Senior Management and departments.Provide meaningful reporting to Senior Management in a timely and effective manner.Proactively manage department performance to ensure workflow is efficient, with targets being met.Create and safeguard a positive culture, encouraging top performance and high morale.Assist/train employees in required tasks specific to their role, maintaining appropriate standards of performance.Take effective and timely corrective action where necessary.Promote cross-training to optimize workforce, ensuring functional coverage, and supporting succession planning.Responsible to enforce company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned by company leadership.What you bring to the role: Proven work experience as an Operations Assistant or similar role.Knowledge and understanding of our industry/construction is an asset.Experience in managing 30+ employees in an administrative capacity.Outstanding interpersonal skills.Leadership skills.Strong organizational skills.Excellent verbal and communication skills.Attention to detail.Ability to oversee several departments and projects at the same time.Strong business acumen.Ability to prioritize tasks and pivot quickly when needed.Calm demeanor in fast-paced work environment.Promotion driven results.Compensation: Salary based on experience and desired workload.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:
