The ideal candidate would be a Certified Safety Officer or a skilled labourer that would be open to receive Level 2 First Aid training.Job Responsibilities:· Thorough knowledge of ALL WorkSafe (WCB) procedures/safety practices including on site work practices and guidelines· Implement Health and Safety standards for construction site· Ability to remain calm and respond effectively while administering any & all first aid on site· Participate in the JOHS committee meetings· Ability to organize and ensure all accidents, incidents and injuries are properly reported and recorded as per WorkSafe and Company practices· Process & complete all necessary documents; Form 7 & Accident Investigation reports· Ability to independently conduct on-site health and safety orientations for all new site workers and visitors· Demonstrate strong administrative and organizational skills· Other duties as assignedEducation, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:· CSO or NCSO certification· Experience in residential/multifamily construction· Must have a current OFA 2 or 3 certificate· Professional attitude with a passion in Health & Safety· Formwork and industrial construction experience is an asset· Experience operating a Zoom Boom is an assetJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $90,000.00-$95,000.00 per yearSchedule:
