Job Description

Field Marketing Coordinator - British Columbia Area - Full Time PositionECP-PF Holdings Group Inc., one of the largest Planet Fitness franchisees operating Planet Fitness gyms in throughout Western Canada and the United States for a Field Marketing Coordinator to help further expand their Marketing Team and their Field Marketing Strategy specific to their markets in Western Canada. This position reports into the Chief Marketing Officer.This individual will be responsible for developing and executing local marketing initiatives to increase lead generation, drive traffic, influence sales, increase customer acquisition and grow customer share in assigned markets.Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for taking the ECP-PF marketing platform and finding ways to bring it to life at a hyper local level.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Planet Fitness customer and the best ways to reach them through non-traditional, field marketing exercises, including events, networking venues, communities both on and off line, content distribution vehicles and more.
  • Devise and execute field-marketing campaigns, with the goal of increasing brand awareness, leads and sales.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend/execute relevant in-club and local events including grand openings, local sponsorships, etc. Develop & coordinate communication strategy to support events working with local PR teams, etc.
  • Responsible for managing/maintaining specific regional field marketing budgets, as well as, the tracking & reporting of sales/ROI driven from specific Field Marketing activity.
  • Improve community and external organizational partnerships through positive relationships by building programs to drive membership opportunities and brand loyalty.
  • Develop understanding of local area signage parameters and creating and implementing strategic signage plan for each club location.
  • Gather and report competitor intelligence to Operations and Marketing teams.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and the Operations teams to communicate & train the field on specific marketing strategies to reach key target markets and organizations via events, activation campaigns and other programs.
  • Work with Marketing and the Operations teams to further develop local training materials and conduct and/or individual training with local teams, Managers, Regional Managers, etc.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.
  • Maintain responsible communication amongst Operations and the Marketing team through weekly and monthly reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales or Business
  • 2+ years in marketing with experience in event coordination and demand generation activities such as guerrilla marketing, email, as well as social media and community engagement.
Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements:
  • High degree of organization and the ability to work across the organization at multiple levels
  • Outgoing, self-starter with a passion for marketing and a positive can-do attitude
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • CRM/email platform experience a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Budget management
