Scheduling Administrator Position (Monday- Friday 9am-5pm). Office. (IN OFFICE POSITION)Office Hours: Monday-Friday 9-5pmWe are looking for someone with administrative experience to join our growing administrative team. The role is dynamic, with many different tasks to accomplish. This position requires a diverse skill set and a candidate who is willing to learn and confident in their abilities.We are seeking a candidate who can adapt easily to new software, multi-task, and manage multiple accounts simultaneously. The Just Like Family Home Care office is a rapidly changing environment and we are excited to find someone for this role who is inspired by growth and is excited to contribute to our positive and upbeat company culture.Just Like Family Home Care provides essential home care services to those in need, it is our goal to ensure that our clients are paired with the best possible caregiver for their unique needs. This position requires someone with mindfulness, attention to detail, and a desire to maintain an efficient and manageable schedule for our clients and staff. Clear and professional communication and a pleasant phone demeanor are essential for this role as the majority of the tasks are phone, email, and voicemail correspondence.Expectations:

  • A typical day in this position is busy.
  • This is an ON-SITE Position only, located in the Chilliwack office.
  • We require reliable transportation and consistent, punctual attendance.

Qualifications:To qualify for this role you must have the following:
  • Canadian Work Permit/Permanent Resident/Canadian Citizen. (Required)
  • Ability to commute and reliable transportation is a necessity as this is an on-site position.
  • Experience in administration, communications, or customer service.
  • Experience using basic software for scheduling and communications.
  • Must like dogs! This is a home office and there are multiple dogs in the home.
  • Experience in customer service, caregiving, administration, scheduling, or data entry are preferred, although not all are required.
Job Duties:The majority of the role includes:
  • Answering phone calls from clients and staff.
  • Scheduling staff and accommodating schedule changes.
  • Calling clients to inform them of scheduling changes.
  • Adding new client shifts to the schedule.
  • Pairing new clients with the appropriate caregivers for their needs.
Relevant Skills:
  • A clear and professional phone demeanor.
  • Motivation and a driven work ethic to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Tech-savvy adaptability for our diverse software and scheduling programs.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks from most to least urgent.
  • The capacity to work well under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Multitasking and the ability to manage accounts throughout multiple locations.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in administration, scheduling, communications, caregiving, or customer service.Perks:

Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts.
