You are an effective communicator, able to educate facility operators and staff regarding applicable policies and deal with potential situations of conflict. You will share expertise with new/apprenticing meat inspectors; evaluate livestock management and adherence to best practices for animal welfare; and conduct preliminary food safety inspection of meat processing activities.You will work on a professional team committed to maintaining and establishing the standard required to keep B.C.’s meat production industry safe.
