NL Counselling is a privately owned company which provides psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families both in person and virtually. Counsellors of NL Counselling provided treatment for a range of mental health and psychosocial issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, stress, depression, grief, adjustment, couples counselling, family therapy, trauma, addictions, and self-esteem. At NL Counselling we have both private paying clients and contracted agreements with various EAP organizations. We are inviting enquiries and/or applications from professional individuals who would be interested in joining our team on a contractual basis.Responsibilities include providing counselling and managing the cases that are assigned to you. Intervention would need to be based on sound theoretical knowledge and treatment that is supported by evidence of best practice. You would be responsible for; scheduling your own appointments; providing treatment, maintaining electronic records, and workload issues, adhere to specific service agreement contracts, and completing client reports. As part of the NL Counselling team you would have a supervisor who provides support and consultation as needed. All aspects of the business including referral management, billing, marketing and programming will be the responsibitlity of the owmer/manager of NL Counselling.At NL Counselling we have a very quaint, therapy space that is comfortable and inviting for conducting private therapy. Owl Practice is the practice software used for documentation, record keeping, and virtual sessions. We currently operate a paperless practice which makes both in-person and virtual services a seamless process. You have the ability to determine your own schedule, select your preferred clientele and work from your preferred treatment modality while we take care of the rest.Applicants must have:
