Job Description

The Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87 invites applications for seasonal Adventure Parks Attendants at Kinosoo Ridge Resort. This position is responsible for providing friendly service and assistance to guests participating on the Aerial Park and features.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide individuals and groups of all ages with assistance throughout their entire experience by greeting guests, providing rental equipment, directing users through the Aerial Park, providing physical assistance, encouragement, and general guidance as needed.
  • Assist, teach, and demonstrate the proper use of the safety equipment, including ensuring the correct fit, and adjustments have been made to the equipment before and during use.
  • Ensure the accurate completion of rental/waiver forms.
  • Perform pre-use and monthly equipment inspections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and spaces.
  • Notify Supervisor of any unsafe conditions, unusual occurrences or irregularities that occur during daily operation, or if work areas need tools, equipment, or any special attention.
  • Be aware of promotional and special events, school bookings and corporate and group functions to help direct guests and staff for these events.
  • Inspect equipment for damages as it is returned, and report to supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate an outgoing, friendly personality and show a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Ability to reason and react with quick and thoughtful judgment, in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Maintain a personable and positive attitude when dealing with customers.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision or in a team environment.
  • Obtain a vulnerable sector check.
  • Climbing or guide experience will be considered an asset.
  • First Aid will be considered an asset.
  • Must have a flexible schedule with the availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Class 5 license will be considered an asset.
