Utilities Assistant – Water Quality(STUDENT/SEASONAL)The North Okanagan is an exceptional place to live, work and explore. The successful candidate will be enrolled in a post-secondary program in environmental studies or water science, and hold a valid Class 5 BC driver’s license. Previous work in a lab or in a position with field experience are considered assets.You are detail oriented, have excellent customer service skills, and are physically capable of working in adverse conditions (heat/noise/outdoor conditions). You can aptly communicate information and understand directions from verbal and written instructions. You work well as part of a team, as well as on your own.Reporting to the Manager, Water Quality, the Utilities Assistant – Water Quality will assist technical staff with field and office work, such as water sampling, calibration of field equipment, verification of water quality data, data entry and supporting water quality and quantity initiatives.Come be part of a great team who takes pride in their work to enhance the very reasons the North Okanagan is such a great place to live, work and play.
