Equipment Operator Level 1 - Jobs in Conklin, AB

Job Description

Jardeg is hiring an Equipment Operator to join the MEG project team on site near Conklin, Alberta.This is a full-time position on a 7/7 shift schedule.Equipment Operators should be experienced in the use of telehandler/zoomboom (bobcat and forklift experience is also an asset)Equipment Operators will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:

• Receive written and oral instructions from supervisor regarding materials to move or excavate
• Demonstrate safe operation of all equipment
• Read and understand the results and purpose of all gauges and equipment
• Properly maintain and service or has equipment serviced daily
• Perform minor maintenance or clearing of tools and equipment

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires zoom boom ticket1 or more years of related experience
• Heavy Duty Equipment Operator
• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification
• H2S Alive
• Fit Test (Full face masks: North 5400; Half face mask: North 5500 Series; Scott AV 3000)
• Class 5 Driver’s License and a clean 5 Year Driver’s Abstract
