Job Description

Our unique approach focuses on guest wellbeing, operational efficiency, community building and a property development mindset – making us a leading provider of accommodation solutions.Civeo Premium Services Employees LP is looking for a General Helper at our Christina Lake Lodge, located near Conklin, Alberta. The successful candidate will performs a variety of duties while being a positive team player for this smaller property. Duties will include checking equipment, working outdoors, and chopping wood in the summer, hauling garbage, boat handling, and maintenance within the kitchen and throughout the site. Reporting to the designated supervisor, the successful candidate will work a 20 days on and 10 days off rotation.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of a General Helper include, but are not limited to:Assistance with putting away groceries using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area as required.Assists with inventory as required.Assists with washing dishes, posts, glasses, cups, and kitchen equipment.Checking both mechanical equipment and summer equipment for damage.Communicating repairs required to the management and/or maintenance teams.General cleaning of public areas.Hauling garbage to the garbage area.Assist with chopping wood.Assist with boat handling.Assist with room cleaning and making beds as required.Other duties as required.Many other duties may be assigned during your employment and should be anticipated as we expect our staff to work as a team on the variety of tasks that need to be done on site.Qualifications1+ years of experience in a remote environment or previous experience as a General Helper or Houseman is an asset.Campground, Lodge, or Cabin work experience is a strong asset.Current, valid First Aid is an asset.Food safety certificate is required.Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects away weighing up to 50 lbs.Civeo Premium Services Employees LP is committed to the principle of employment equity.
