Job Description

Associate Lawyer (Transactional Law)One of Alberta’s premier regional law firms seeks an Associate Attorney with a book of business to join the Firm’s Transactional Law team working primarily in Corporate|Commercial law. We are seeking a highly motivated professional who can take initiative and work independently as well as within a team.Qualifications:

  • Must be admitted to and in good standing with the Alberta bar
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in general corporate transactions (commercial contracts, asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, buy/sell agreements, operating agreements, etc.)
  • Strong research and analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
