We are currently seeking an Healthamp; Safety Specialist to become a valued addition to our team.Why join the PPT team- Join a dedicated, dynamic, and results-oriented team.- Take on a significant role in the success of a thriving company while building an exciting career.- Thrive in a business dedicated to enhancing employees #39; skills.- Contribute to impactful and stimulating projects within a collaborative environment that values ideas.- Enjoy benefits such as group insurance, EAPamp; pension plans with a generous company contribution.- Access to vacation time within the first year of employment.- And many other benefits.Working on establishing a robust structure and fostering a safety culture across each of our divisions is indeed a significant challenge!Here #39;s an overview of your daily responsibilities:- Developing audits, procedures, policies, and training programs to enhance the prevention program.- Inspecting and assessing workplace safety at various sites.- Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are implemented on-site through increased presence.- Reporting, recording, investigating, and analyzing accidents.- Serving as a resource person for incident/accident forms completion.- Coordinating and participating in health and safety committee meetings.- Keeping safety procedures and emergency plans up to date.- Acting as the company #39;s representative in communications with CNESST, WSIB, and other organizations or authorities.- Influencing workers #39; compliance with laws and regulations.A summary of the skills and requirements needed to succeed in this position:- Possession of a certificate in occupational health and safety, relevant training, certification, or equivalent work experience.- Extensive knowledge and understanding of safety guidelines mandated by CNESST, WSIB and federal laws.- Ability to remain calm during stressful events, such as serious accidents.- Willingness to travel to multiple job sites in a single day.- Proficiency in both English and French, bilingual.- Experience in construction sites.- Telecommunications experience (an asset).Learn more about usPPT places innovation and performance at the center of all its processes.
