Join a team that #39;s working together with industry to deliver innovation for the long term on some of the most important and interesting projects around the world.Your OpportunityAs a Regulatory Advisor you will have a working knowledge in federal, provincial, and municipal jurisdictions, and have an understanding of the rules and regulations of other regulators that can affect facility and pipeline development and operation. The successful candidate will be an advisor to projects regarding regulatory requirements and may complete deliverables concerning the regulatory approval processes and compliance.Your Key Responsibilities- Provide regulatory guidance and interpretation support to the project teams- Conceptual review and/or independent reviews of the engineering design for regulatory adherence- Coordinate environmental, dispersion modelling, and noise impact assessment studies, as required- Review and provide input to design basis memorandum (DBM) document- Prepare the regulatory permit plans, applications and complete compliance tracking- Develop detailed scope of work, design basis document and project execution plans- Provide input to the cost estimate and project schedule- This person will be responsible to have complete ownership of project tasks- Participate in proposals, scheduling, budgeting and other project management activities, as required- Interaction with internal business lines, our clients, and regulators will be expected.QualificationsYour Capabilities and Credentials- Participate and support business development opportunities- Familiarity with reading maps, survey plans and drawings (i.e. PFD, Plot Plan, P amp;ID)- Previous experience with Canadian provincial facility and pipeline regulations and applications (e.g., AER, BCER, AEPA)- Knowledge of ABSA/TSASK application requirements is considered an assetExperience with CER regulated and renewable energy projects are considered an asset- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (CSA Z662, ASME B31.3) is an asset- Experience in project execution is required- Strong organizational and time management skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong people skills with an ability to work independently and in a team environment- Good working knowledge in Microsoft Suite including TEAMS, Word, Excel and Office is considered asset.- Driven and willing to learn.- Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.- Involvement in Industry committees is considered an asset.- Valid driver #39;s licenseEducation and Experience- Bachelor #39;s degree or technologist diploma from an accredited university or polytechnic school; schooling in a science, engineering technology area, or equivalent experience is required.- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industryTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
