We #39;ve got what you #39;re looking for.The Parsons transportation team is expanding and currently seeking a Senior Municipal Engineer/Project Manager who has the interest and ambition to join the Western Canada Transportation Design and Construction Group. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this position will seek opportunities and provide services tailored to meet the client #39;s needs and objectives for the assessment, rehabilitation, and construction of municipal infrastructures. Your expertise in municipal engineering and experience and leadership skills will be essential to coordinating the efforts of your design team, liaise with clients and stakeholders to manage, and administer projects while overseeing the contractor #39;s performance with the assistance of inspectors. With clients being Parsons #39; primary focus, you will be the key interface and primary point of contact on project-related matters.Responsibilities- Act as a lead on current and new opportunity pursuits.- Conduct infrastructure condition assessments for the purpose of evaluating the client #39;s needs.- Conduct the construction administration and inspection of the work performed by others.- Understand, interpret, and apply the contract conditions.- Supervise designs, contract preparation, and authenticate professional work products.- Write technical reports and any deliverables required by clients.- Manage and administer projects with promoting quality, sustainability, value, timeliness, and profitability.Qualifications- Professional Membership with the engineering or technologist associations in Alberta.- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in municipal engineering.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Requires a working knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of prime contracts.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 75 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
