Reporting to the Director of Recruitment, the Talent Acquisition Strategist (TAS) is responsible for enhancing the organization #39;s ability to attract top talent in a high-volume recruitment environment.This permanent, full-time position will work a hybrid in-office and remote working schedule. This role will require the ability to travel up to 20% of the year to FLINT locations to participate in internal and external networking opportunities.What would you be doing- Cultivate and nurture meaningful industry networks to inform and enhance FLINT #39;s sourcing program and diversity and inclusion strategic initiatives.- Spearhead high-volume recruitment strategies for teams and service lines.- Collaborate within the recruitment team and other departments, including Marketingamp; Communications and Human Resources, to align on employer branding initiatives and FLINT programs to tailor sourcing approaches to meet unique staffing needs.- Working in collaboration with Marketingamp; Communications, maintain consistent employer brand messaging across platforms using diverse and inclusive recruitment sites.- Lead social media recruitment campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.- Partner with key Development Programs and post-secondary institutions.- Monitor and analyze sourcing metrics to refine strategies aligned with business targets.- Apply Project Management expertise to recruitment initiatives, including follow-up protocols to align with project timelines.- Oversee vendor contracts fostering productive relationships with posting partners for optimal results.- Stay abreast of industry trends and technology for optimized talent acquisition.- Plan and manage Recruitment Marketing/Advertising budget effectively.- Research and understand market intelligence and demonstrate FLINT #39;s competitive advantage.Does this sound like you- Minimum of 3 years recruiting experience having familiarity with construction and maintenance business cycles and staffing challenges.- Human Resources Certificate or Diploma considered an asset.- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including presentation creation.- Recruitment agency background in heavy industrial, oil and gas, or construction preferred.- Experience guiding effective multi-channel efforts in branding, marketing, or media planning along with experience in developing large recruitment campaigns is advantageous.- Knowledge of ICIMS or similar applicant tracking systems is an asset.- Basic understanding of Human Rights, Employment Standards, and Freedom of Information Act legislation.- Skilled in candidate sourcing using various types of software, including social media, cold calling, networking, and Boolean searches.- Thorough understanding of the importance of recruitment data metrics, research, critical thinking, and time management.- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple simultaneous initiatives and provide comprehensive reporting.Perks of the job- Join a vibrant and dynamic team of recruitment professionals where work is enjoyable and rewarding.- Enjoy top-of-market compensation, complemented by our RRSP matching program, securing your financial future.- Benefit from a flexible, hybrid work schedule for balanced work-life harmony.Other important detailsAs a condition of employment, qualified applicants who accept the role must complete a satisfactory pre-employment Background Check.
