Skydive Toronto Inc has the following job opportunity available (subject to government funding approval) to all young people aged 15 to 30. The duration of the position is from May to September 2023, with the potential to extend into the fall months.Description: Aircraft Duties: Refueling aircraft from the fuel truckEnsuring that all customers are named on the manifest sheet for each loadAssist with the loading of skydiving customers onto the aircraftCleaning aircraft both inside and outsideSecuring the aircraft at the end of the dayEnsure the equipment used in these duties is properly stored at the end of the dayOffice Duties: Flexibility to assist in the Customer Service, Registration and Administration position when necessaryProvide assistance and support to our Operations ManagerAssisting management team with various projectsCreate forms, documents, take dictation, running in errands, etc.Skydiving ActivitiesRegister skydiving students.Front line customer service.Sales of gift certificates and merchandise.Tandem video host, ushering customers into their tandem skydiving training.Reviewing registration waivers, inputting them into the computer, and taking payments from customers.Gearing and de-gearing tandem students before and after their jump.Answering customer emails, phone calls, taking reservations.Enhancing customers experience onsite.General MS office and typing skills. Full training on industry specific software will be provided.Full training on skydiving information will be provided as needed.Retrieving parachutes from the landing area.Aerodrome Duties: Cutting grass on the runwayPaintingClean up garbage and recyclingCare of vehicles and equipmentAdditional duties as requiredOther Duties and Requirements: As may be requiredMust be available to work weekendsJob Requirements: Legal to work in Canada.Ability to communicate proficiently in English.
