Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this position will lead the analysis of business processes and the development of process improvement initiatives across the department. This position will support business process improvements, review of internal controls, data gathering and analysis, along with modernization of technology.The Business Analyst will review and enhance department policies, procedures and processes to improve departmental effectiveness and efficiency, along with mitigating risks. The successful incumbent will work closely with internal clients to ensure financial management, procurement and other business needs provided by the department are being met, and identify efficiencies that can be achieved through the use of technology and best practices as it relates to business processes. This role will require proven experience in business process design, gathering and analyzing complex data, collecting and creating business requirement documents and translating these into technical specifications and/or configuration requirements that cross multiple functional areas.The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:
