Job DescriptionDo you love helping customers discover great products online Ready to learn the ins and outs of e-commerce with a growing teamJYSK is looking for an enthusiastic E-Commerce Assistant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. As our E-Commerce Assistant, you #39;ll play a key role in how thousands of customers discover and shop our products online. This role offers a chance to learn the business from the ground up while making a real impact.This role includes maintaining product information and catalogue updates - it #39;s how you #39;ll learn our products inside and out. If you #39;re someone who understands that accuracy builds customer trust and finds satisfaction in getting things right, you #39;ll do well here. We need someone who sees every task as part of the bigger picture of helping customers.This role is based out of our home office in Coquitlam, BC.Key Responsibilities:Make Online Shopping Better for Our Customers

  • Merchandise our weekly digital flyer, showcasing our best offers to customers.
  • Write and edit SEO friendly product descriptions that highlight key product features and selling points.
  • Edit and optimize product images in Photoshop and internal AI tools.
  • Keep our online catalogue accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support day-to-day e-commerce operations that keep our site running smoothly.
Learn and Grow:
  • Understand what makes products sell online.
  • Explore cutting-edge AI tools and how to use them in e-commerce.
  • Collaborate with our digital marketing team on exciting projects.
  • Contribute ideas to improve how we present products and serve customers.

What do you bring to the role
  • Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 1+ years in digital marketing or e-commerce, including hands-on experience working in an e-commerce CMS (internships count!).
  • Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new tools.
  • Strong English verbal and writing skills (French is a bonus).
  • Proficient in Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Experience using Photoshop for image editing and optimization.
  • Solid attention to detail (because getting it right matters).
  • Genuinely interested in understanding what makes great online shopping experiences.
  • Take pride in doing quality work, even on routine tasks.
  • Natural problem-solver who asks,quot;How can we do this better quot;.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce/Magento.
  • Basic HTML knowledge.

Compensation: Generally, the hiring range for this position is $48,000 to $50,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
