Job DescriptionDorion Traffic Management Ltd. is a newly established traffic management company based out of Coquitlam, B.C., serving the lower mainland, and the greater Vancouver area. We are actively seeking a friendly, hard-working, and reliable Lane Closure Technician to grow with us as a company. We look forward to meeting with you!Job Title: Lane Closure Technician (LCT).Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm. Required documentation is completed consistently and thoroughly each day.· Ability to critically think and problem solve while on the job. Show attention to detail and is alertness while on the job.· Understand and consistently demonstrate occupational health and safety (OHS) safe work practices and procedures. Perform risk/hazard & safety assessments at each job site prior to commencing work and throughout the duration of the job.· Work site equipment set up and removal to ensure a safe, and controlled work space for all.· Conduct basic vehicle and equipment safety inspection reports.· Provide leadership and aid in training junior employees.· Provide feedback and collaborate with supervisors and management on process improvements.Requirements: · Valid Lane Closure Technician (LCT) certificate.· Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)· A valid B.C. Class 5 driver’s licence, and safe drivers abstract.· The ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, management, contractors, and clients.· General construction and/or arboriculture experience is an asset.· Knowledge and implementation of Traffic Management Plans is an asset.· Has knowledge of OH&S regulations, and the materials and methods required.· 1 year minimum experience is required.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: Up to $32.00 per hourBenefits:
