Job Description

JAKs will support you to be the most successful you can possibly be; both personally and professionally.We are currently seeking a Service Champion to live our purpose of: Sharing our Passion for People and Spirits!About JAK’sWith 13 liquor store locations, JAKS is a market leader in the BCs retail beer, wine, and spirits industry and is focused on continued growth.The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have polished customer service skills and a passion for our products; specifically wine or craft beer, but also cider and spirits
  • Enjoys helping others and building relationships with our guests
  • Has retail customer service experience
  • Has a desire to grow and learn
  • Is able to lift 50lbs safely
  • This is a Part-Time Seasonal position, (May-September), with opportunities to return for the Holiday Season.
Some of what you will do in this job is:
  • Assist customers with product selection, providing food pairing suggestions where appropriate
  • Receive orders, unloading pallets and stocking the sales floor
  • Educating guests about the product and what’s behind each bottle
  • Maintain overall presentation of the store
  • Process orders at the cash desk, ensuring that each guest has an excellent in-store experience
  • Complete warehouse duties (stocking shelves, stacking pallets, reorganizing the warehouse area, etc.)
  • Educate guests about our COVID Safety standards, including the requirement to wear masks.
