On a daily basis, the Maintenance Aide will be responsible for specific operations related to mechanical, electrical and maintenance departments.As a Maintenance Aide, you will be accountable for…

  • Promoting bill of rights by building rapport with our residents, family members, employees, and our clients of the home.
  • Conduct all the duties related to the occupational health and safety procedures of the company to keep our home safe and healthy.
  • Painting operations of the home, making sure everything is as per the company standards.
  • Assist with the property maintenance including exterior duties including snow removal property lightning, garbage, and other general operations.
  • Ensure all the entries are recorded in maintenance care application.
  • As handy person this job also includes janitorial duties such as cleaning and disinfecting the ground floor.
  • Other duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
  • Post-Secondary Certificate in Skill trades or related program or high level of experience.
  • One year or more of experience in a similar position with working knowledge of electrical and mechanical home operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Ability to multitask, time management and can work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize work and must be able to work in fast paced environment.
  • Valid Ontario Drivers license
